In the late 20th century/early 21st century, the United States government develops a Command and Control Computer system known as ''Skynet''. Eventually skynet becomes sapient and decides to whipe out Humanity. To do this Skynet starts a nuclear war resulting in the destruction of civilization and uses an army of Robots to mop up survivors. This Robotic army is fought by a resistance led by John Connor, who is eventually sucsessful in defeating Skynet. In order to prevent this from happening, Skynet send various Terminators back in time to assasinate John Connor, with the resistance sending various agents to stop them.
