Mass Effect is often dismissed as primitive by Star Trek standards, but does Star Trek have a device that combines the functions of a communicator, tricorder, and replicator in a package small enough to easily implant under your skin? --Ted C 13:26, 14 February 2013 (EST)

  • Tricorders and replicators are better at their functions than omnitools, though. But yeah, as far as miniaturization goes the omnitool is hard to beat. Stargazer 01:42, 22 October 2013 (EDT)
