Militaristic and Expansionist, the Dilgar were driven to engage in a war of expansion after it was discovered that their sun would go [[Super Nova]] in the early 22nd century. The Earth Alliance eventually was able to stop the Dilgar, confining them to their home system afterwards which led them to their extinction as their sun went nova.

The Dilgar were a species of sapients in the Babylon 5 universe. Militaristic and expansionist, the Dilgar initiated a war against the League of Non-Aligned Worlds when they discovered that their sun would go super nova in the early 22nd century. With the help of the Earth Alliance, the League eventually prevailed, confining the Dilgar to their home system. The Dilgar subsequently became extinct when their sun went nova. The only survivor was the Dilgar Warmaster, Jha'dur, who was eventually executed/assassinated by the Vorlons.
