While there are many Christians that can live in stable Democratic Societies and get along with other faiths, fundamentalist Christianity can be downright dangerous to a civilization. Fundamentalist Christians can be militantly intolerent to other beleifs and be willing to use ledgeslation, threats of torture and death and forced conversion of Children to spread their faith and to stomp out all deviancy from their established beleifs. They are also monumentally intolerent of things including Gay Rights and Abortion Rights.
While there are many Christians that can integrate their beliefs in modern society and get along with other faiths, there are groups of fundamentalist Christians who are willing to use violence and coercion to force their world view and principles on those who do not necessarily subscribe to these views. This is especially visible in controversial subjects such as [[gay rights]], the [[evolution]] debate.

Christian Fundamentalism
