Vonda N. McIntyre is a Hugo and Nebula-award winning science fiction author. She has written several Star Trek novels, and a Star Wars novel.
She came up with the now-canon first name of Hikaru Sulu in her ST novel The Entropy Effect.
Her SW novel, The Crystal Star, about the kidnapping of the Solo Twins, was a New York Times Bestseller.
