Douglas B-1E

Overview

The Douglas B-1E is the mainstay of the Tian Xia Air Force bomber fleet. It can carry up to 25,000 lbs warload in each of 3 bomb bays. Additionally, it can carry almost 60,000 lbs externally, on 8 hardpoints. It is a result of modernization and commonality upgrades.

Each bay is individually configurable, and carry either a 8 point rotary launcher, 10 point rack, or 28 point bomb rack assembly. Eight point launchers can carry 2000 lb class weapons, including JASSM and 2000lb bombs (including with guidance kits). Harpoon antiship missiles and mk54 torpedos with Longshot wing kits can also be carried on the 8 point launcher. Additionally, self defense munitions are carried on 8 point launchers. A modified version allows the carriage of 12 SRAM-II missiles. The 10 point rack is used to carry cluster bombs. This includes incindaries. The 28 point rack allows carriage of 500lb bombs, including guided bomb variants.
