United Kingdom

The United Kingdom of Great Britian and Northern Ireland is a Parliamentry constitutional Monarchy located on most of an island chain north of France. The United Kingdom from 1600 was a prominent European nation, creating colonies which would latter become nations such as the United State, Canada, Australia and New Zealand and by the early 19th century, britian was the most powerful nation on earth. The United Kingdom also laid the foundations for much of the world's current democratic tradtions, developed much in the line of technology, started the industrial revolution and contributed much in the lines of science (Netwonian Physics and Evolution by means of natural selection being big on the list) and culture. Even though the british empire fell apart in the last half of the twentieth century, Britian remains a wealthy, powerful and culturally infuential nation.
