Terran Empire
The Terra Empire is a Faction base in Alternate version of the Star Trek Universe in which human civilization diverged at some point (when exactly was this point of divergence has never been specified although it has been stated that it happed before the 20th century and various theories exist among the fandom as to where it might be). In which Terran Civilization became an expanionistic militiristic monarchical state that (among other things) has enslaved various species, makes use of brutal military disipline and advancement is often achived (despite all its impracticality) through assasination of one's superiors.
By the late 24th century, the Terran Empire has collapsed. The fan rection to this has been very negative.
