Terra

Terra is a small planet orbiting an average yellow-dwarf star near the outer rim of a barred spiral galaxy called the Milky Way. In reality, it is the only known planet with a sentient species on it. Its inhabitants refer to the planet as 'Earth' in the dominant language (citation needed) known as English.

It figures prominently as the homeworld of the human species in a great number of science-fiction stories, shows, movies, and books. Star Trek has Earth as the seat and origin of the United Federation of Planets, for example.
