Technomages are a secretive organization of individuals with access to exceptionally advanced technology in the Babylon 5 universe. They are notable for their having adopted the imagery of wizards or sorcerers; they typically wear dark robes and conceal their technology in staves, wands, orbs, and other trappings of magic. Their power is reportedly based upon the organic technology of the Shadows.
Limits
The capabilities of Technomage technology are unclear. Other organizations appear to be capable of most of the same feats as Technomages, but Technomage technology is far more more miniaturized; a Technomage can carry devices on his/her person to accomplish tasks that would require a roomful of typical Young Race technology.
