The game is a sequel to the equally well done [[X-Wing (Game)|X-Wing]] game.  It takes everything good about that game and improves on every aspect of the gameplay.
 
As the name would imply, the player works for the Empire. Its plot is notable in that depicts the Empire as a more realistic organization, as opposed to an inhumanly evil one that it comes as in the movies.
