Starfleet Jedi is JMSpock's website that promotes the Federation as the victor in any conflict against the Galactic Empire. It is home to the notorious "diesel fusion" claim. It contains a forum and a wiki.
- Not that long ago, in a galaxy quite nearby, two rival factions battled for dominance over nerdkind...
- On one side, stood the devotees of Lucas. "Star Wars is the best," they said, "Star Trek is for losers! The Empire would conquer the Federation without blinking! Star Trek is racist, communist, and filled with technobabble! Trekkies are stupid!" On the other, the devotees of Roddenberry. "Star Trek is the best! Star Wars is for blind fools! The Federation is good, capable, and Starfleet could run circles around the Imperial Navy! Star Wars is for nutty folks who believe they are really Jedi! Star Wars is anti-technological, facist, and filled with poor moral examples!"
- Some held themselves aloof, some rushed in, but in the end, none lost and none gained, and the geekiest of nerds and the nerdiest of geeks bunkered down. They debated the virtues of Kirk and Qui-Gon, X-Wing and Enterprise, Borg and Clonetrooper, and the Empire against the Federation. The camps waned and grew, until the camps filtered into closed communities, critics from their own sides exiling them from conventional circles of fandom.
