Considered the total sum of Imperial naval strength in a sector. Commanded by a High Admiral.
Size is variable, but the smallest possible Sector Fleet contains 24 Star Destroyers, 1,576 other combat starships of varying sizes, and 800 support starships for a total of 2,400 ships.
The Empire has upwards of several thousand Sector Groups available to it, which is impressive, even taking into account WEG minimalism.
