Repulsorlift

Repulsorlift technology is an anti-gravity technology allowing for the levitation of objects inside a planet's gravity well common in the Star Wars galaxy. Repulsorlifts are generally used on atmospheric aircraft, 'ground' vehicles that levitated a meter or two of the ground and onboard spacecraft for liftoff. They require minimal power and are rather ressiliant, but can be defeated by unusual electromagnetic activity and can't pass through shields (as seen when a Gungan army used portable shield generators to stop a force of devestating Trade Federation Armored Assault Tanks from advancing on their position, only doing so after said generators were taken down by Battle Droid formations).
