Republic Commandos are the Grand Army of the Republic's driving force. If a tough job needs to be done, commandos go behind enemy line to blast away at whatever is blocking the "regulars", whether it be an orbital canon or a contingent of destroyers. If a job needs to be done, commandos can do it.
