A Proton Torpedo is a standard missile weapon of the GFFA, scalable from minute shoulder launched versions to massive capital ship missiles that are larger than some fighters. At least one description indicates that Photon Torpedoes are 'shaped charge' weapons, and not omnidirectional in their destructive power.
