Pavel Chekov was navigator for the USS Enterprise for most of it's five-year exploration mission in the 23rd century.
Trivia
- Chekov was portrayed by Walter Koenig in TOS and the related movies.
- While Chekov did not appear in the TOS episode "Space Seed" (or in any episode of the first season), Khan recognized him in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, indicating that Chekov was a crewmember, but not yet a bridge officer.
