The State of Israel is a nation created in the middle eastern coast of the Mediterranean that came out of the Zionist movement in 1948.

The existence of the country, as well as it's policies in the region and it's treatment of the Palestinians is quite controversial on SDN and is the subject of a moratorium unless there is new information to discuss.
