Worf fires an isomagnetic disintegrator...
... to disable some So'na troops.

An isomagnetic disintegrator (also known as a Worfzooka) is a Federation support weapon seen in Star Trek: Insurrection.

Performance

Worf used an isomagnetic disintegrator against a small group of So'na soldiers on a distant ridge. The result was an explosion comparable to that of a modern hand grenade that incapacitated a few So'na soldiers.

The explosion was not significantly larger than the explosions sometimes caused by hand phasers on high settings.[1] The lack of any noticeable difference in firepower suggests that the advantage of the isomagnetic disintegrator is accuracy at greater range.

However, it is more plausible that weapon in question is not isomagnetic disintegrator but rather tachyon pulse launcher, so it is be used for deactivation of weapons.
