Genesis Device

The Genesis Device is an implementation of the Genesis Project, headed by Drs Carol and Davis Marcus. It is a missile-shaped weapon that, upon usage, begins to rapidly terraform a planet by first spreading its energy matrix across the surface and then manipulating the matter it crossed to suit the needs of its users. Any already-living life on the planet, however would likely be instantly destroyed in favor of the energy matrix's needs. This gave it the potential to be used as a weapon of mass destruction.

It should be noted that the Genesis Device was only seen used once, and the information related to its construction was lost due to the destruction of the science station and the murder of its scientists. The Genesis Device, when used, was detonated in the Mutara Nebula rather than on a planet as was originally intended.
