In Star Trek V, the Enterprise supposedly travels to the "Center of the Galaxy" and in a short amount of time; much less time than is usually indicated by warp speeds. Trektards try to use this one incident to say all the other warp speeds are clearly too low.
The problem is that what is depicted in the film is nothing like what the actual core of the Milky Way galaxy is theorized to be like. The real galactic core is theorized to contain massive black holes, and nothing of the sort was seen in the film.
