A really big, hot place where it doesn't rain very often, and is full of sand.

Full of either Jews or Arabs, and site of a perpetual war between them. Prior to that, was owned by the British, French, and the Ottoman Empire at varying time periods.

Has no other redeeming value other than Oil,Hiking, sand and large scale tank battles (see: Rommel).
