The ruling varient of Cylons are a type of artificial humans, virtually indistingishable from normal humans save for small chemical alterations inside their bodies. They are stronger and faster than normal humans and have the notable ability to be able to download their minds into cloned bodies during death.
Alongside these forms there are other forms including [[Raider|(Battlestar Galactica)]]s (fightercraft piloted by an internal organic brain) and Centurions.

The Cylons are a species of sapient machines in the Battlestar Galactica universe. They are enemies of humanity with the goal of completely exterminating the human race.
