The Columbia (NX-02) was an NX-class ship in the 22nd century under the command of Captain Erika Hernandez. It had improvements over the Enterprise (NX-01). It was delayed during the Romulan drone ship incident. In late 2154, the Columbia was ready for service and went to intercept the Enterprise. The Columbia helped the Enterprise by enveloping it in its warp field so the Enterprise was able to shut down and reboot its warp core. It then followed the Enterprise to Qu'Vat Colony. There, the Columbia lost weapons in the ensuing battle. It presumably participated in the Earth-Romulan War.
