Trivia

In the comics, the Collector is an Elder of the Universe, the only surviving member of an ancient civilization. He is effectively immortal and able to manipulate an energy called the Power Primordial for a variety of effects. He took up collecting as a hobby to keep him sane in his seemingly endless life.
