Christianity is an Abrahamitic Religion, a direct offshoot of Judaism that places importance as a figure known as Yeshua (which is commonly Anglicised to Jesus) who acording to various interpretations of Christian is either the Phophet, Son or Avatar of Yahweh who suposedly lived between 10 BCE and 30 BCE.

Notable Sects of Christianity

  • Catholicism-The largest and among the Oldest of Christian Sects, emerged from the reminants of the Western Roman Empire. Notable for having a highly developed heirachy and a large number of rituals.
  • Orthodoxy-Othrodoxy Emerged from the Byzantine (Easter Roman) Empire and established itself in Eastern Europe.
  • Protestantism-Protestantism emerged around 1500 CE in a movement started by German Theologian Martin Luther that broke off from Catholicism. Protestantism is not so much one Sect as a family of related sects based off Geographic/Political boundries (Such as the Church of Denmark, the Church of Norway, etc) to specific theological beleifs (Calvinism, Baptism, etc).
