The Blue Suns are a mercenary organization that operates in the Terminus Systems in Mass Effect.

Organization

The Blue Suns are controlled by a commander named Vido Santiago, who makes decisions regarding contracts and independent operations. Less officers oversee Blue Suns operations in particular worlds. Their operational doctrine emphasizes firepower and combined-arms, and they make heavy use of combat mechs.

Membership

The Blue Suns recruit humans, turians, and batarians.

Threat Assessment

The Blue Suns are a significant force in the poorly governed Terminus Systems, but their forces are far to limited to threaten a major planetary government, let alone an interstellar government.
