The Battle of Septimus III was the invasion and conquest of the Cardassian planet Septimus III by the Klingons during the Dominion War.
The Cardassians' Dominion ally's broken promise to send reinforcements to Septimus III led to the Cardassian Rebellion. The resources drained by this rebellion aided the Federation and its allies to win the Advance on Cardassia.
