New Zealand

New Zealand is a small parliamentry democracy located on an island chain in the southern pacific ocean east of the Commonwealth of Australia with origins leading back to the British Empire. It is well off economically but is has a very small population (little better than 4 million) and a small military . It is notable for having a nice climate, being home to the Maori people and several interesting types of native wildlife and being home to Peter Jackson and WETA. New Zealand's Citizenry is commonly refered to as Kiwis and New Zealanders.
