Biggs Darklighter

Biggs Darklighter was a starfighter pilot and friend of Luke Skywalker who left Tatoone to attend the Imperial Naval Academy and join the navy. Sometime after graduating and entering active service, he led a mutiny on the ship he was serving on and later defected to the Rebellion. He was shot down by Darth Vader during the Battle of Yavin.
