The USS Odyssey was a Galaxy-classFederationstarship that attempted to defend a Federation colony in the Gamma Quadrant against attack by the Dominion. The Odyssey was quickly routed when her shields proved ineffective against the weapons of the Jem'Hadarattack ships, and she was destroyed completely when one of the attack ships rammed her while she was trying to escape.
