Razor
2008
Our new puppy Razor! We all miss Fuzzy (we still do), but life does go on, and he left a huge hole in our hearts that could only be filled with new life. Enter Razor (whose original name was "Riser", which we changed by altering one syllable, hence the odd-sounding name for such a small dog). We got him from a breeder in a small town north of Toronto called Barrie. He was eight months old when we got him, so he was nearly his mature size already.

Here he is a few weeks later at the park. He's already filling out quite a bit, and his hair is getting longer so he's looking quite a bit more "full", so to speak. The breeder had kept his hair cropped in an odd way, which is why he looked a bit ragged before. With a bit of hair growth and grooming, he began to look more like the way you would expect a Shih Tzu puppy to look.

| David with Razor! David treats Razor almost like a teddy bear sometimes, picking him up and cradling him in his arms, keeping him on the couch with him, etc. Razor has gotten used to this, and seems to accept it without protest.

2009
As is typical for his breed, if you let his hair grow out too long, he starts to look fat.

| David is babying Razor again. This time he even started dressing him up.
