Matthew in his big toy truck, in our living room in Sombra. That truck
was one of many toys that we've since given
to Goodwill. It's always a bit heart-wrenching to give away those old
toys, because there are so many fond memories attached to them. But
that's more for us than the boys; as far as the boys are concerned,
they're just old toys that they don't play with any more.

Matthew and Fuzzy hatched a plan: Matthew would snatch food off my plate,
and he would then give it to Fuzzy.

Cutest kid ever.

In a way, I almost miss the days when I had to feed the boys by hand.
Then I wake up and realize how silly that is.

Fuzzy kept Matthew company even as he slept.

It's Fuzzy's devastating face-lick attack.

Matthew learned to walk with that Fisher-Price walker toy. He used
to chase Fuzzy around the house with it, laughing hysterically.
|
 |
Hey, that smells good! Can I have some?
|
 |
Matthew used to hold Fuzzy's chew toys and treats so he could chew on them
out of his hand. Unhygienic, we know.

Waiting for me to come home.

Matthew on the front porch. You can see the St. Clair River in the
background. It was a nice house with a great view, but it was way
out in the middle of nowhere.

 |
Hey Daddy, I can see you!
